About Us
USS The Sullivans Foundation is a 501(3)(c) non-profit benevolent association to promote the memory of the five Sullivan brothers who gave their lives while serving on the USS JUNEAU during WWII. Periodic reunions will be scheduled to foster fellowship and camaraderie among ship's complement and families of all U. S. Navy ships named THE SULLIVANS.

Promote the memories of George, Francis, Madison, Joseph & Albert – the five Sullivan brothers – who died when their ship USS Juneau (CL-52) sank after being torpedoed by a Japanese submarine during the battle for Guadalcanal on November 13, 1942.

Continue to foster the spirit and unity that lived and continues to live among the crews of these gallant ships – USS The Sullivans (DD-537) & USS The Sullivans (DDG-68) – during the years of service to our country.

Our Mission
Our mission is to support the restoration and preservation of USS The Sullivans (DD-537) and to honor the brave men and women who served aboard the ship. We aim to share the history of this iconic ship with future generations and ensure that it holds a special place in our nation's military history.
