Celebrating the DD 537 and DDG 68

USS The Sullivans Foundation is a charity dedicated to supporting the restoration of USS The Sullivans (DD-537), a 79-year old Fletcher-Class destroyer that saw action in World War II, the Korean War, and the Cold War.

USS The Sullivans (DDG 68) is the U.S. Navy's 18th Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer and is named after the five Sullivan brothers; George, Francis, Joseph, Madison and Albert who were killed in action aboard the USS Juneau (CL 52) during the battle of Guadalcanal.
